The Way It Is.

This is how Jody and LaVaughn, are now. Not close at all. For Jody is gay, and LaVaughn, is so upset about this because, she really loved Jody. And, even if they aren't together in the way she wanted, but they are friends now and i'm not sure if they are good friends but in the book it says. I really like this book, even though i wasn't suppose to write about this, i just had to say it (:

This Man

pg. 105

"His name is Lester, and his the new guy at her work."

Lester, the guy her mom is dating. And that’s what she think. They are happy together. They seem like there together, and married. And her mom, has been taking down pictures of her father that is everywhere. Leaving it empty, because of a new man. Everything is all good until, Lester had mentioned that they should move in together. They were all fine with that, unless LaVaughn had agreed to move. But she had more in her head then anyone had new. Should she move, and leave the little friends she had. And the biggest problem if she should leave, Jody. But all in all. That ended, when Lester had mentioned to take out money from LaVaughn college fund. Then that was over, LaVaughn, doesn’t know what to think anymore.

WOOW !

" I only recognized Jody  but not the other one, i just noticed it was a boy. i stood, ice still, and saw their mouth together and stay and i froze. "

LaVaughn, had never expected this at anytime of her life. She had never thought that Jody was gay,  never thought in her life she would be this hurt for a boy that she was never with. She was so broken inside. When she got home she just cried and didn’t know who to talk to this about. Who can she trust the most, when she hasn’t had that many friends now. Since she had left them. And some of her other friends might not be able to understand. So all she could do is cry, and one day she just told her mom everything. And she wanted her to get her mind off , of what is distracting her. It helped, and then Jody can last minute, and gave her a gift. And said, a lot of things. Her present was a painting book. For Jody also had a painting on his ceiling. They made up, the understand now.

Oh, Jody.

This quote states, how she feels about Jody. You always notice the little things in the guy you like. LaVuaghn, really never thought about a guy before. She had always been to busy to do anything, or not. She had the time, she just didn’t have anyone to think about. Until now, she never saw Jody in this way, she had always seen him as her buddy, and vis versa.

Suddenly here comes Jody.

Suddenly, here comes Jody back again, changing everything."
This quote was when Jody had just came back from somewhere far, after he had moved away a couple of years ago. And she saw him in the elevator, and she couldn't help and stare of how much he had changed. They talked for a second, or so in till he got of the elevator in the same place he use to live. Then at that moment, LaVaughn started to like him, and sooner or later fall head over heels in love with Jody.

This quote was were LaVuaghn thought to herself, about how god is the way to live. She thought how can god, keep you safe, and keep you from doing the wrong thing. When someone else can do wrong to you. And there goes your pureness.Also, because she doesn't think can help her solve all the problems she has.

True Believer

This quote from the book from pg 23. This section is important to the book because, this is where fifteen year old, LaVaughn named after her two aunts. Is where she knows for a fact that she is going to go to college. But most people in there neighborhood doesn’t have to chance the chances to go to college. Her old time buddy, Jody moved back in and he also really wants to go to college as a professional swimmer. She seems to think he likes her, but we aren’t sure, about the way Jody feels. I think in this book, LaVaugh will get distracted in school and maybe not go to college. And fall in love with the boy, Jody. Because, she think he is gorgeous.

True Believer

" Jittery at the bus stop with him,
or in the elevator
or walking into school with him,
sneaking a look sideways at him,
words coming out of my mouth clumsy

This is a part in the book when LaVaughn is crushing on her old best buddy from a long time ago. Jody, the  boy she is crushing on is a swimmer and seems like he is crushing on her, the same way Jody feels about him. LaVaughn, the only child who just lives with her mother, and has two best friends but they are starting to get separated for she doesn't want to join the Jesus club with them. I think in the next parts of the book, she will grow closer to her friends and maybe be with her new and old friend Jody.

This pictures shows how LaVaughn and Jody aren't that close, but want to become closer, for they both like each other.

Blood Line.

The book that i just started reading is Bloodline book two Reckoning. By Kate Cary. In this book, I don't believe that people can be vampires, and that there are vampires in the world. But, I do believe that most teenagers going to college, always try to fit in and try to get a girl. I also believe in this book, Quincey, was in a church group wanting to praise the lord, and giving hope to other people. Something else i believe is that Quincey, has to take show his cousin around, i think. But, he is starting to like her, he think she is beautiful, smart, and funny.

Dear Lisa McMann

Dear, Lisa McMann.
I love the book serious Gone. I love the drama, the love and the real and unrealistic things about this book. But, i would want to change the ending, doesn't explain a lot of or in my opinion doesn't have such a good ending. It explains nothing, just has a happy ending. In a way, Janie is someday going to die with pain from her gift to go into other people dreams. Or she is going to die from a huge pain in the head if she not able to go into dream. Shes staying for she loves her boyfriend, Cabel. Who is her supported boyfriend, that knows everything. Unlike her drunk mom, who doesn't know anything about her, and that she can go into dreams. And doesn't take care of her, the way Janie, takes care of her. I love this book, it's a fantastic book, and the serious keep me on my toes or the edge of my seat.

I Connect

I might have never been in a trouble, like this to try to prove my father or any one of my family innocent. But i have always been very close to my family, and try to help them with problems. Or they are helping me, since i am the youngest. We would be very close, they would always come to visit, we would go visit time when we are not very busy. Also, my parents, sister, and myself. Are very close, we always eat dinner together, always have a short or long conversation before we go to sleep. And of course, have fun, we would mess around with each other. It's all fun and games. And of course with ALL family's there are going to problems. Little things, that bother us.  (:

This Book

This picture, represents how Dusty has been dumping waste into the ocean. Dirtying the water, and killing maybe some sea animals. And Noah, Abbey, Paine, and the mother. Are all trying to prove that he is. But Dusty has been very good at covering his track. And he knows a lot of people in the coast guard.

 

This other picture shows the after product of how, there plan was to flush down food coloring that will not harm the water. There plan had got Dusty to go to jail. And for that time they thought that he was going to jail for a long time, but he had went out not long after, and pay a little fine. Paine, got really mad. He had punched the wall, but when the cops came , they though he had burned the boat down. But, they had a not from when they were in the hospital. And he was clear of his charges.

Not Again

"Standing in front of Dad was a young, barrel-chested man wearing a shiny blue suit. The man was jotting in a notebook, except he wasn't a newspaper reporter. He was a detective..."Mr. Underwood, what happen to your hands?" Lieutenant Shucker asked. "You didn't burn the, did you." "No, I didn't burn 'em. I broke 'em." my father said."
This was about police officers accusing him of burning down the Coral Queen. When he was just cleared of the charges. But they know for fact that there dad and husband didn't do that. He had just broken his hand, punching the door, because he was mad about the bad guy. Just getting out with just a small little fine. The lieutenant still questioning him, but Noah's mom, shows him the papers from when they were in the doctors wrapping his hands. After that was solved, they live happily. Even though there grandfather is going back to South America, leaving soon. Giving some presents. And promising to come back soon.  

The Life

Pg.192
"And ducking would have been a smart move, no doubt about it. Because i turned to see Luno with his meaty right arm extended, aiming a stubby-looking gun at the dinghy...I whipped the dinghy around, aimed it toward the channel, and twisted the throttle wide open. I glanced back just as the mysterious pirate was hurling Luno's stubby gun into the basin."
This section, was about when Noah had tried to escape from the boat. He had escaped from the boat, but he was caught by the goons. And Abbey comes in the little boat, he gets in the book, but the motor runs out. And they are slowly drifting to shore. Closer and closer they are getting to the goons. And once they get close to them, they point a gun at Noah, trying to protect Abbey. Then this old guy pirate, comes in and beat the guys, Noah and Abbey are going away. Half way through the motor runs out. And there stuck, with a thunder storm coming on the way. They satay in the middle of the ocean, worried, and scared. The earlier morning they see there dad in the boat, with the old pirate guy. They talk and they see that the old guy was just there undead grandfather. 

There Plan

"When I open the first bottle of food coloring, I saw that Shelly was right. The gel oozed out like molasses. Carefully I squeezed the plastic container until every gooey purple drop landed in the toilet hole. Then I gave a hard flush to make sure the dye went where it was suppose to go. Shelly had warned me that the stuff could get gummy pretty quick. If it stuck in the plumbing pipes, our plan would be ruined."
This section, was about Noah, Shelly, and Abbey. Trying out their plan. Noah and Shelly would flush food dye, down the toilets, while Abbey was sitting out on land, waiting to help Noah when he stop is in trouble. But after a while of just sitting on the toilet, a lady comes in. Drunk, and really needing to use the restroom. She yells and screams loudly, and Noah tries to her. But, that doesn't work, so he decides to run away. Almost getting away, until some of his goons try to get him, but does he ?

"She's gone!" Mom cried. "Abbey's gone!"......."I was impressed by what my sister had tried to do, but she's no Steven Spielberg. The tape was so dim and shaky that is was almost impossible to see what was going on."
This passage was about when Noah's mother had walked into Abbeys room, and saw that she wasn't there. The mother was scared, screaming. Until they made a plan to go find her.  When they found her walking through the forest. Prepared, the parents happy that they found her and she was save and sound. When they got home, she showed them the video. She had a good idea, but where she was. Wasn't the best. The video was blury, dark, and dim. 

What This Whole Thing Is.

"According to my father, Dusty Muleman was such a pathetic cheapskate that he wouldn't pay yo have the Coral Queen's sewage hauled away. Instead his crew had standing orders to flush the waste into the basin, which was already murky. The tide later carried most of the filth out to open water."

This passage was about, when Noah's dad. Paine. Sinked the boat of Dusty, the owner of the boat. Because he had been dumping all the waste from the Coral Queen's, into the ocean. Paine had got so mad, that he had tried to sink the boat, and that had work. Then he had gotten arrested.

I would recommend this book to my best friend , Jazmin Mata. I think she would love this book because, it has great story line. I wouldn't really change anything in the book. It's a really good book, i would recommend this to anyone.
